“Tragic City Symphony” marks the return of Birmingham, AL hard rockers Lynam!  The new CD contains thirteen new tracks fueled by rebellion, lust, loss, and life.  “We really wanted to make a statement this time around” explains Jacob Lynam.  “We grew up on everything from Guns N Roses to Nirvana to Green Day.  We wanted to make an album where every song is great and has something to say like “Nevermind” and “Appetite For Destruction”.  The last Green Day record blew my mind because every song on the record was an anthem.”  With “Tragic City Symphony” Lynam has crafted an album that is both dangerous and beautiful while delivering the edge that has been missing in Rock ‘N’ Roll for sometime.

Lynam worked again with producer Jason Elgin (Collective Soul, Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster) on the effort.  “We have always thought of Jason as the fourth member of Lynam” states Jacob Lynam.  “He always brings out the best in us and shares our vision of what the Lynam sound is.”  The new record also features special guest including, the band “Hinder” and Tom Keifer from Cinderella.  “We toured with “Hinder” on their last tour and we became great friends” explains David Lynam.  “We asked them to come and do some gang vocals on our new record and they came down and delivered.  The new record sounds huge!”  “Cinderella was always a big influence to us” adds Mark Lynam.  So, it was an honor to have Tom Keifer play slide guitar on the song “Enemy”.  The CD was mixed by Jason Elgin, Mike Shipley (Green Day, Maroon 5), and Beau Hill (Stevie Nicks, Bob Dylan).

The band consists of Jacob Lynam (lead vocals, guitar), David Lynam (drums, vocals), and Mark Lynam (Bass, Vocals).  In 2005, Lynam signed a deal with DRT/Universal Records and released the critically acclaimed album “Slave To The Machine” in 2006.  This album peaked at #21 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and #19 on the Heat- seekers chart. The ?rst single "Tanis" went to #1 on both the active rock independent and main-stream rock independent charts. The band toured heavily behind the effort opening shows for Hinder, Godsmack, Evanescence and Candlebox.  With the release of “Tragic City Symphony” (Mascot / Megaforce) Lynam shows no signs of slowing down.
